What commission is usually applied to a transaction?
Depending on the nature of your business and the risk it poses to a financial institution, a lower or higher transaction fee will be applied. Currently, PayOk offers three types of terminals for online businesses: Low risk terminal, medium risk, and high risk.
Are there any fees for a Canceled or Pending transaction?
In payment processing industry, policies and fee structures can vary depending on the payment service provider or bank. PayOk's policy on fees for canceled or pending transactions is the following:
- Pending Transactions: Usually, we do not charge a fee for transactions that have a "pending" status since the transaction has not been completed. However, if the pending transaction is ultimately processed and completed, then the corresponding fee would be applied.
- Canceled Transactions: If a transaction is canceled before being processed, no fee is incurred. However, if the transaction has already been processed and a cancellation or refund is later requested, fees may apply. These fees are sometimes referred to as "return fees" or "chargeback fees" in the case of chargebacks.
